A full range of behaviour support services
Functional Behaviour Assessment
A structured look at why a behaviour of concern is happening — what tends to happen before and after it, and what need it might be meeting. This understanding shapes everything that follows.
Interim Behaviour Support Plan
Early, practical strategies to help keep everyone safe while the full assessment is completed — especially useful where there's risk involved, or a restrictive practice already in place.
Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plan
The full plan developed after the assessment, written in plain language so the whole support team can follow it consistently.
Implementation & coaching
Working alongside families and support workers to put the plan into practice, with coaching to build confidence and consistency day to day.
Reducing restrictive practices
Working towards fewer restrictive practices, and where possible none, with the right safeguards and oversight in place.
Training for families & support teams
Practical training to build the skills and confidence of the people supporting someone day to day, so strategies are used consistently.
Telehealth appointments
Flexible, video-based appointments for participants across the region, including where an in-person visit isn't always practical.
Funding
How behaviour support is usually funded
Behaviour support is usually funded through the Capacity Building part of an NDIS plan — most often Improved Relationships, and sometimes Improved Daily Living, depending on what's in the plan.
Specialist behaviour support is delivered in partnership with Tranquil Trails Counselling and Therapy, a registered specialist behaviour support provider, so agency-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants can all be supported.
